I wanted to create a Pumpkin Head character riding a horse. Here I've started the May base-mesh for the Pumpkin Head character. Eventually I unposed him and put him in a neutral pose for eventual animation rig.

Quinn wedding reception tree

Unexpectedly I found myself painting this tree for a couple (Kevin and Renee Quinn) in the end of August 2012 who wanted this for their wedding reception. Instead of guests signing a book, they had them stamp and sign leaves on the tree. Very clever.

Rachel's "R"

For Christmas (2011), I created a gift for my niece. I wanted to make something she could sit on her desk or hang on the wall. Taking inspiration from Brittney Lee's shadowbox art, I knew I wanted to do something with depth and "painterly". Two things I wanted it to involve was, [1] something to represent her and [2] something with her cat. As I was walking around in the craft shop and saw the foam R, it came to me.

Rhino changed . . . again. Much better . . . again!
